People go to the Gym for their physical fitness, people invest in a diversified portfolio for their financial fitness, but people don’t do anything for their mental fitness and wellbeing. People hardly realise they need to proactively do something for their wellbeing.
Only Financial and Physical Fitness will not bring wellbeing and happiness. It is the overall welling which makes people happy.

You need to be conscious of your wellbeing. It is only then you can think about your wellbeing. Apart from monetary and physical fitness following are the things which contribute to our wellbeing.
1) Healthy Relationships
This is very important. A healthy relationship with the close family members is the most important determinant of your wellbeing. Without a healthy relationship, your wellbeing is hampered.
Next, to the close family members, close friends also enhance your wellbeing. A sense of belonging makes you happy and this is the reason healthy relationship plays a crucial role in your overall wellbeing.
If you suffer from relationship issues, work on it and resolve it. Your happiness quotient will go up. Happiness is the ultimate objective of our wellbeing.
2) Mental Balance:
Every event good or bad – in your lives impact you. Events around you also impact your mood.. This mood swing is a continues process. Sometimes you are down and other time you are joyous.
This continues mood swing affect your wellbeing. Ability to maintain equanimity enhances your wellbeing.

3) Spiritual inclinations:
Spiritual inclination makes people calm. This teaches people to take the life with humility. It helps people to deal with otherwise difficult life.
Spiritual inclination also helps people to refrain from vices in a difficult time. The spiritual inclination is important for your overall sustainable wellbeing.
4) Enough Sleep:
Yes, enough sleep is a privilege. Rich and famous are mostly deprived of this. For a healthy mind and body adequate sleep is necessary.

5) Fulfilling Career:
This is a luck. When 85% of the people dislike their work, a person who gets an opportunity to work which she likes is fortunate.
As per the NCBI study, unfulfilling career does have an influence on the health. For your wellbeing, your job satisfaction plays a vital role.
6) Hobbies:
Pursuing hobbies in free time is another privilege. This is the time spent with the self. Hobbies make you free. Free from all worries and stress.
Have a hobby to pursue not when the time permits but allocate time to pursue a hobby. This will add quality to your wellbeing.

7) Optimistic Outlook:
Optimistic about the future is important to feel happy. If you don’t feel happy about the future, your wellbeing is compromised. Pessimistic people are sad, uninspiring and unhappy. These qualities are anti-wellbeing qualities.
A positive outlook on one’s future is a basic prerequisite for the wellbeing. With all your resources and relationships if you are not positive about the future, your mind is in the state of fear or anxiety or hopelessness.
If you suffer from negative outlook about the future, shed your worries and feel good about the future. Spiritual inclination and reading good books can be of help.
Wellbeing is important for a healthy body and mind. Focus on your overall wellbeing and not just on financial and physical wellbeing.
